I am an Associate Professor at Lund University, scholarly active as researcher, lecturer and editor. I specialize in the early modern cultural history of Northern Europe, within two research fields: (1) religiously dissenting networks and (2) notions of privacy.

Since 2020, I hold a full-time position in the research programme at the Danish National Research Foundation's Centre of Excellence for Privacy Studies, University of Copenhagen. We explore issues regarding what we today call privacy, primarily within five themes: belief, urban space, home, health and law.

I am the editor-in-chief of the peer-review journal 1700-tal: Nordic Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies, and the co-editor of the books Reason and Orthodoxy. Religious Enlightenment in the Nordic countries (Manchester University Press, 2023) and Tracing Private Conversations in Early Modern Europe. Talking in Everyday Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024). Since 2019, I pursue a biographical project on Johann Conrad Dippel.

In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
