This seminar is part of the series Philosophical perspectives on human rights, co-arranged by Human Rights Studies and the Department of Philosophy. The aim of the series is to bring philosophers together with human rights scholars in a dialogue around topical issue related to human rights and global justice.

Nicola Mulkeen is Lecturer in Political Philosophy at Newcastle University. Her research concerns justice, equality, and exploitation, with a focus on questions of intergenerational justice, business ethics, and climate change ethics.
