I am an interdisciplinary scholar in Human Rights Studies with a research focus on the intersection of human rights and the environment.

My PhD project “Human Rights at the Lithium Frontier” explores dilemmas and opportunities in socio-environmental conflict against the backdrop of lithium extraction in the Salar de Atacama, Chile. I am particularly interested in how concepts such as ecological justice, restorative justice and the defence of the commons contribute to a critique of the so-called green transition.

Holding a master's degree in Human Rights Studies from Lund University, my thesis focused on the role of Rights of Nature and Human Rights in the mitigation of extractivism in Swedish Sápmi.

I am multilingual with work and research experience in English, Spanish, German, Swedish and French.

In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
