Doctoral student vacancies at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology, which Human Rights Studies is part of, are usually advertised once a year, 1 February. All openings are advertised at the faculty website Academic Vacancies. Please note that we do not advertise openings unless we have funding for them and that we do not admit students to our Doctoral programme without a prior announcement. In the general syllabus for the Doctoral programme in Human Rights Studies, you´ll find specifications of what we require for eligibility for the programme. Be advised that you need to have a Master’s degree in a relevant field of study in order to be eligible and that admission is highly competitive.
