Emma Lennhammer is a PhD-student in Human Rights Studies and a and a member of the National Graduate School of Historical Studies.

At this seminar, Emma Lennhammer will present a draft chapter of her PhD-thesis Time and Its Subjects in the Human Rights Imaginary, which explores subjecthood of human rights in relation to the temporal dimensions of human rights. The project concerns the temporalities of international human rights law, focusing particularly on the mobilisation of time under the United Nations core human rights treaties in Sweden between 1970s to 2020s.
